The dream come true
There are some people who were numbed by the crisis, while the others were stimulated to find the new ground. I also owe within the latter, so I decided in 2008 to start a helicopter development. In our factory, we basically manufacture hydraulic, pneumatic components, but in 2008 the orders were dwindled considerably.
There are many excellent people in my company to work with me, and I wanted to be sure to provide the job to them. I has been interested in aviation for a long time, I was driving a glider myself, so, if not completely layman, but as an amateur, I decided: let's try to build the helicopter. Originally, my goal was, it could be operational and testable.
Well, the handset had already completed, it worked and it had a permit from the Hungarian Aviation Authority as an experimental vehicle. It sounds as a success story, but of course there is a hard work behind it.We had got help from the colleagues of Óbudai Egyetem Bánki Donát Gépész és Biztonságtechnikai Mérnöki Kara, from Budapest and so many external expert engineers, as well. The constructs were determined by the financial possibilities and the availability of technical support, but the plan was the helicopter should be assembled in place.
In the first six months, we spent the time to search the best solutions on the functional testing models. The task may to be seen is simple, but it is not enough that the machine takes-off, the numerous of problems turn out when the helicopter has left the land. In our country, several people have been tried and nowadays they are trying to build the helicopter, but in fact "well-established- model" is not ready at all in addition to ours, so we are pioneers in this respect. On the world there are only 15 countries who are manufacturing helicopters as you know, if we get the license of type, our country also might be moved to the line, which would, of course , enormous pride.
The superior flight characteristics of this helicopter outperform the others competitors, in addition to the cost factor is not insignificant: we can produce the same quality in lower cost (20-25 percent more than other manufactures)
To manufacture the helicopter, it is a long process. To build is a big challenge, but to build in high quality is even greater. In addition, it must be reliable and beautiful, which is very important in this area. It is also an important factor, to make this machine marketable. The first stage of this work will be to build the a cabin, the next version would be a side by side version which one could be used for educational purposes.
